The person at a small or mid-size US business who asks customers how it went: a founder, the customer success or support lead, an operations manager with several sites, or a product manager who wants to know before the next release. Not an HR or people buyer running employee engagement surveys, not somebody chasing public reviews, not a market research department with panels, and not the compliance team doing customer due diligence.

Customer feedback buttons, and the arithmetic nobody does before buying one

Putting a smiley terminal by the door or a survey link in an email is the easy part. The part that decides whether any of it works is what happens to the answers: how many you will actually get, how many of them come from somebody unhappy enough to need a reply, and who is going to make that reply. Csatzo does that sum on your own numbers first, then keeps every response with its score, the customer who gave it and what was done about it.

Csatzo Pro is $17 a month, billed monthly.

Ask, score, answer

Csatzo covers the three parts of asking that usually get separated

The question
A survey short enough that people finish it Response rate is decided by the question, not the reminder. One score plus one open follow-up gets answered; a page of grids gets abandoned halfway, and an abandoned survey is worse than none because it teaches the list not to open the next one.
The score
A number with the answers still attached to it Any tool will show you a score. What matters three months later is which customers gave it: a score that has fallen four points is a mystery unless you can open the eleven responses underneath it and read what they actually said.
The follow-up
The unhappy answers, in a list somebody actually works The value of asking is almost entirely in what you do about the bad answers, and that work is invisible unless it is recorded. Keeping who replied and when is what turns a survey into a reason a customer stays.

Csatzo Pro keeps every response, who gave it and what you did about it

You keep the worksheet. Pro holds the responses themselves, so six months later you can say who was unhappy, whether anybody replied, and whether the score moved after you fixed the thing they complained about.

  • Take the responses away as a file whenever you want them
  • Send a customer a survey with nothing on it but your business
  • Come back next quarter and find the last round still there
  • Put your name and logo on what customers see and managers read
  • Send the round from the record it will come back into

Should you just buy a full experience platform instead?

If you need panels, sampling, cross-tab analysis, benchmark data for your industry and a research team to run it, buy an experience management platform and stop reading: they do that and Csatzo does not. Be honest about size too, because it matters more than any feature: if you are asking fewer than a hundred customers a quarter, a form and a spreadsheet you actually read is genuinely enough. Csatzo is for the business that has started asking, is getting more answers than anybody is replying to, and cannot say what happened to last quarter's complaints.

What it is for

Csatzo: Asking a short question, keeping every answer, and working the ones that need a person

A full experience management platform: Programme-wide measurement: panels, sampling, analysis and industry benchmarks

Where the numbers come from

Csatzo: Your own customers, and nobody else's

A full experience management platform: Your customers plus benchmark data drawn from other companies' respondents

Who runs it

Csatzo: One person who has other work to do as well

A full experience management platform: Usually a research or CX function, and often a paid implementation

What it will not do

Csatzo: No panels, no benchmarks, no employee surveys, no review chasing, and no explanation of why somebody answered as they did

A full experience management platform: Will do most of those, which is the point of buying one

No competitor price is quoted on this site. Experience platforms price by responses, seats and modules and quote on request, so a figure read today would be wrong by the time you read it; the honest comparison is what each tool is for, which is above. Csatzo Pro is $17 a month, flat, and that number is on the pricing page rather than behind a demo.
